What exactly is a drop-in visit?
A drop in-visit is where a sitter comes to your house to visit with your pets. This service is great so your pets can stay in the comfort of their own home without the stress of being at a boarding facility! A drop-in visit also works perfectly for your pet who needs a visit during the day while you work a long shift or will be out of the house for an extended period of time.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured through Pet Care Insurance which includes: general liability, animal bailee coverage (injuries or damages sustained by an animal in our care, custody, or control), vet bill reimbursement (coverage for medical expenses, regardless of who is at fault, for your pet in our care, custody, or control) and lost key coverage.
Can you administer medication to pets?
Yes, we have experience with and are happy to administer medication to pets as long as full instructions are discussed beforehand during our meet & greet.
Do your rates change for the holidays?
Yes, there will be an additional $10-$15 charge added on to our normal rate for all major holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day/ Indigenous Peoples' Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Do you allow shared pet care if I have friends/family that want to help while I'm out of town?
Unfortunately this is something we are not comfortable offering. We have experienced problems with this situation in the past with confusion on visits and responsibilities, overfeeding/missed feeding, medication administration uncertainty, unlocked doors, etc.
Can you hold on to our house key for future visits?
Yes, we are comfortable holding on to your house key for future visits and recommend this option, if you are willing. We have found it very helpful for last minute bookings or if an unexpected visit is needed to already have a key on hand to get to your pet as quickly as possible. If you would like us to return your key to you after a stay, there will be a $10 charge.
